We all like to save a little extra money. That is just a fact of life today, especially when we are spending on things that are necessitates of simply living.
Just because we don't all have a budget for the better products doesn't mean we have to settle for things that are no good for us or our families. You are the gatekeeper of your home and you have the control over what you and your family do and do not use. That's a lot of responsibility. I mean, let's be real, we all want the best, we just don't always know how to make the best accessible.
If you know anything about Thieves products, you know they are amazing, and that they really work! You also know they have what seems like a heftier price tag. Thankfully there is a hidden blessing in every product: the insanely high concentration of each solution. Everything Young Living makes can be made to last in some way shape or form. It takes a small amount of effort on your part, however the end result of money saving is completely worth the time.
Here is my go-to recipe for Thieves Laundry Soap. This recipe turns that little 32oz bottle into a 5 gallon bucket on laundry cleaning goodness!
What you'll need:
- One 32oz Bottle of Thieves Laundry Soap
- Thieves Household Cleaner
- Arm & Hammer Super Washing Soda
- Your Choice of Essential Oils (I recommend Citrus Fresh or Purification.)
- Water (Distilled, Purified or Tap, I'm a tap girl myself.)
- 5 Gallon Bucket
Instructions:
- Pour as much of the Thieves Laundry Soap as you can into the bucket (It's thick beacuse of how concentrated it is, so you may need to put the cap back on and turn the bottle upside down while you start the next steps.)
- Add 1 cup of Thieves Household Cleaner
- Fill the bucket a little less than half way with water and mix
- Now add 1/2 - 1 cup of Arm & Hammer Washing Soda (Based on your scale of heavy - low soil washing needs.)
- Add about 20 or so drops of your favorite Essential Oils
- Pour the remainder of the Thieves Laundry Soap into the bucket
- Finish filling the bucket and mix!
That simple and you've got laundry soap to last a crazy long time in comparison!
